Job Description: The Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch is currently looking for outgoing, energetic candidates to fill the position of a Public Space /Laundry Attendant. This position is a dual role that will cross train as a Public Space and Laundry Attendant.

When working as the Public Space Attendant the job would include maintaining all public areas (hallways, public restrooms, lobby, pool, fitness center, etc.) of the hotel to ensure working order and cleanliness based on directives from the Facilities Director, hotel managers, guests, Hilton Brand standards, and other hotel personnel.

When working as the Laundry Attendant the job would include running washers, dryers and irons, folding laundry - towels, sheets, duvets, banquet tablecloths and napkins, Delivering clean laundry to the housekeeping storage closets on each floor - ensuring they are always stocked , making sure all laundry carts are stocked with proper amounts of clean towels and sheet and ready for housekeeping daily Deliver clean towels, sheets, blankets to Front Desk as needed.

Essential Duties:

· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

· Remove trash from bins

· Clean all public areas (elevators, restrooms, laundry areas, pool, fitness room)

· All cleaning must be done in compliance with OSHA, state, and Hilton Brand Standards to include correct use of chemicals

· Maintain balance between assigned duties, guests requests, and emergency situations

· Interact with guests in public spaces with excellent customer service

Requirements:

· Trained in blood-borne pathogen procedures

· Be skilled with and able to follow emergency procedures when necessary

· Must be available to work varied shifts depending on business demands

· Must possess the ability to lift 25-50 lbs

· Must have the ability to walk for 8-10 hours per shift, the ability to climb stairs, work with/around heavy equipment
