Hilltop Eyecare is Hiring an Optometric Technician Near Jonesboro, AR

  • This position starts at $14.50/hour ($15.00/hour fully trained).
  • Friday workday ends early at 3:00 with a working lunch provided.

  • Job duties: pre-testing patients to be ready to see the doctor; performing specialized testing; assisting patients with contact lenses; setting up referrals for patients; scribing for the doctor during the examination; assisting in minor surgical/laser procedures;
  • You will be cross-trained for front desk duties such as scheduling, phone calls, checking insurance coverage, etc
  • Previous experience is highly recommended - We do provide on-site training.
  • Paraoptometric certification is available after 6 months on the job.

Our primary goal is to serve and WOW each patient every time with consistent and exceptional care. We are an established health care facility starting 14 years ago. The benefits package includes: 5 PTO (starting after 90 days), scrub allowance, paid holidays. Job type: Full time. No weekends. Salary $14.50/hour - $15.00 once fully trained.
