We are currently hiring for a Family Peer Advocate I or II at our Buffalo, NY location.
Full-time position (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday with a flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends based on client’s needs. Will work primarily in Erie County, in a mainly mobile role.
Under the supervision and general direction of the assigned manager, the Family Peer Advocate provides outreach, information, referrals, advocacy services, and helps to coordinate family support services for families of children with special needs. Applicants must be a parent or primary care giver of a child with special needs and/or social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

Demonstrated proficiency in all essential functions of the Family Peer Advocate I position or 2 years of external experience in a comparable position.
Level I: $15.00 Minimum Rate per hour, $20.23 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience.
Level II: $15.00 Minimum Rate per hour, $21.85 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience.
