Work Schedule:

This is a casual / PRN position working as needed. The Pain Clinic, located inside the hospital, treats patients from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications of the Pain Clinic Assistant

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA (certified nursing assistant)
• Knowledge of insurance verification / authorization processing
• Good computer, phone, and communication skills
• Must possess a positive attitude towards patients and co-workers, and must be a flexible team player

Responsibilities of the Pain Clinic Assistant

• Provide patient care including vital signs and assessments
• Complete insurance verifications and authorizations
• Assist the OR department with data collection
