Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine interest in working with young children.

The Hillsdale Community School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position:

Qualifications: Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood Endorsement or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Applicant must be certified in CPR and First Aid.

Duties:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of preschool-aged children.

- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills.

- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and development.

- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.

- Incorporate physical education, special education, and early intervention strategies into daily activities.

- Participate in curriculum development and planning to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for all students.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

- Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting.

- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.

- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and curriculum development.

- Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $31,086.00 - $37,020.00 per year
