Hillsboro Medical Center is Hiring an Administrative Nurse Supervisor, RN | Per Diem Near Hillsboro, OR
Pay range: $50.49/hr - $76.24/hr plus 10% per diem differential
Key Responsibilities
- Relief Supervisors: refers issues regarding hiring and compensation to appropriate managers.
- Assist with orientation by monitoring the progress of CRU staff and Float Pool Nurse Techs.
- Monitor competency of agency staff.
- Participates in decision making which affects on-going Nursing Department activity.
- Attends Nurse Management Council and Nursing Administration Group meetings.
- Supervisor coordinates high census meeting and plan. Facilitate resolution for conflicts about patient placement (right place, right skill set, right time).
- Prepares staff schedules, including obtaining director approval, timely distribution, to assure adequate availability of staff for patient care.
Required Education, Experience, Licenses/Certifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years (within the last 10 years) clinical experience in acute care setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by Oregon State Board of Nursing
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
