Assistant Director
The Opportunity: Tulane Hillel is a vibrant non-profit community center that fosters leadership and community engagement for all Tulane students. Hard to put into words, best when felt, but this place has a “vibe” that makes Tulane Hillel a unique and meaningful place to work. Students describe Tulane Hillel as radically inclusive, welcoming, and relevant, and our organization engages an unusually broad spectrum of young people, both Jewish and non-Jewish. Our team is hard-working, driven by our students, and joyful.
Role Overview: The Assistant Director oversees and manages Tulane Hillel’s student-generated and led programming. This position on our team is someone toward which students gravitate. You will partner with our Executive Director, Gary Brandt, to set the vision for all programming and lead the staff Engagement Team and our Tulane Jewish Leaders (students) to deliver exceptional programs. The Assistant Director will be a compelling presence at most of our programs, many of which occur in the evenings, Friday nights, and Sundays.
To Apply: The priority deadline for this role is June 1st, 2024. After this deadline, we will continue to receive applications on a rolling basis but may close the application at any time, so we encourage people to apply as close to this date as possible. Apply using this link.
