Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily charge capture with strict attention to accuracy.
• Works closely with department and hospital leadership to resolve materials and billing discrepancies/queries.
• Create and share usage reports and update materials listed in the Charge Master.
• Schedules OR and delivery cases on labor and delivery floor.
• Independently brings project solutions to the CDM/Materials teams and management
• Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested
• Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge
• Cooperates and interacts with superiors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work or school experience required

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Healthcare related degree and professional work experience in revenue cycle operations and/or clinical operations, is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management or a related field preferred
• Prior billing/scheduling experience preferred
