Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing Occupational Therapy services to patients according to the established plan of care.
- Communicate and document treatment including patients’ progress toward established goals according to the department’s policies and procedures.
Serve as a resource person for the team and the department; participate in orientation of new staff and other health personnel.
Participate in teaching activities for Occupational Therapy Assistant students and other health-related students.
Work within practice guidelines as defined by Oklahoma state law.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Graduate from accredited OTA program
- Oklahoma State COTA licensure
- Active BLS certification
