Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist I supports patient care by performing quality Ultrasound procedures and consistently maintains focus on customer service and safety. Enhances quality by participating in performance improvement. Supports the Radiology department and reports to the Radiology Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements 

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program within a school that is approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA).
  • Possess an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) 
    • If registry eligible must pass registry within two years of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Job Requirements

  • One year of direct experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
