We are looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team! Ideally, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience as a technician in a successful ophthalmology practice and having your certification is a big plus! Our team works very closely together, so ability to work well with others, eagerness to learn and a focus on patient care is key.

As an ophthalmic technician in our state-of-the-art practice, you will be:

· Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.

· Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.

· Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.

· Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease and ocular medications.

· Experienced with Humphry Visual Field, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields.

· Ocular Motility, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.

· Proficient with EMR computer programs.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience with:

· Refractions

· Checking vision, identifying chief complaint

· Tonometry

· Various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visual Fields)

Compensation is based on experience and certifications.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
