Are you a registered nurse with a passion for optimizing reimbursement and ensuring the highest level of revenue integrity? Do you have experience as a Regional in the Long-Term Care (LTC) industry and a knack for coordinating strategic Assessment Reference Dates (ARDs) and completion dates? If so, we have an exceptional role for you as a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement. Join our team and become a subject matter expert in MDS completion and its impact on both care quality and revenue.

Position Highlights:

  • Play a pivotal role in optimizing reimbursement and tracking regions relevant data.
  • Ensure compliance within a region for revenue integrity requirements, including Physician Certification/Recertification and Denial letters.
  • Oversee chair revenue-related meetings and promptly respond to facility and regional team inquiries.
  • Promote accurate IDT documentation and provide education to region.
  • Oversee comprehensive care plans based on data collection and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in oversight of new MDS coordinator interviews, orientation, and ongoing education.

Qualifications:

  • Registered nurse with 3 years reimbursement or similar experience in the LTC industry (preferred).
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing MDS and billing processes in the LTC setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with IDT members at facility, regional, and corporate levels.

Salary/ Wage Range 

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
