Senior Systems Engineer (CAI)

HTS is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical support to the MDA Chief Architect's Warfighter/International Integration office (MDA/CAI) in its mission as the single point of contact for wargame requirements development and analysis and to the Warfighter for all engineering and technical issues related to the missile defense system. The work is performed as part of an on-site contractor team at MDA facilities at the MDIOC on Schriever Space Force Base, CO.

Required Qualifications:

• 75 % of the job will entail:
  • Provide wargame and missile defense subject matter expertise to MDA/CAI in their role leading the development of MDA's wargame event requirements and post-wargame analysis and reporting.
  • Assist CAI by providing practical wargame experience to shape the content of MDA's wargame walk-up events, table top exercises and capstone events.
  • Provide expertise to CAI in wargame doctrine and best practices employed by the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMD), Services and Defense Agencies.
• 25% of the job will entail:
  • Support CAI in conducting missile defense system architectural analyses with international partners and warfighting CCMDs.
  • Facilitate missile defense collaborative planning, analyses, and systems engineering for designated international acquisition and international cooperative programs.
  • Travel, to include international locations, may be required.

Required Skills:

• Masters degree in a STEM field with 12 years experience in missile defense-related or other DoD large project with specific experience in wargame development and execution, systems analysis, and engineering for defense-related programs.
• Ability to plan and execute required support, develop clear and concise written products, and present wargame and missile defense technical matters to MDA senior leaders and MDA warfighter and international working group meetings in support of MDA/CAI.
• Secret clearance
