Hill Search Solutions, LLC is Hiring an Audit Supervisor Near Houston, TX

Audit Supervisor

Years of Experience: 5-7 years’ recent audit experience within public accounting.

Location: Houston, TX

Shift: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 based on experience

Our client is a full-service accounting firm that focuses on providing top tier tax, audit and strategic guidance to business owners, independent professionals, and high net-worth families.

Qualifications:

  • CPA license preferred, not required.
  • 5-7 years’ audit experience
  • Experienced with government, construction, and non-profit audits.
  • Experience running engagements, leading a team, and reviewing work papers and financial statements.
  • Superior Excel skills and well-rounded knowledge of audit and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with CCH Pro fx Engagement software considered a plus.
  • Consultative approach with a focus on providing superior client service.
  • Ability & willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing complex audits and reviewing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
  • Preparing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP
  • Performing internal control documentation and testing
  • Assisting Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners with consulting projects
  • Training and supervising staff and review process of work papers and financial statements
  • Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to managers.
  • Identify technical skills needed for improvement and improve through CPE, personal commitment, and on-the-job training.
