**HILL COUNTRY MHDD CENTERS IS OFFERING A $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR THIS POSITION**

Help us help others:

We are looking for a psychiatrist to be the Medical Director for mental health services along the I-90 Corridor where we currently have three clinic locations: Hondo, Uvalde, and Del Rio. This position will start out as primarily being responsible for providing outpatient psychiatric services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, but it will expand in the future for providing clinical services and administration of our new mental health campus in Uvalde which will encompass both outpatient and inpatient services. You will be responsible for timely and accurate documentation that supports diagnosis and outcome-based services. This position will primarily be in Uvalde, Texas and will be a hybrid of in-person and telemedicine, required to provide services during operational hours and may require after-hours services.

You will get to:

  • Provide evaluation and management of adult patients
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations
  • Maintain the ethical standards of the profession
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Provide client crisis services

Qualifications


You’ll definitely need:

  • License to practice medicine in the state of Texas
  • Successful completion of a psychiatry residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or equivalent body
  • Board-Eligible or Board-Certified status in psychiatry
  • A valid Texas State Driver’s License.
  • Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel when necessary.

  • Identify gaps in processes and work closely with other departments for process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully and collect relevant information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Comfortable working with technology and can easily navigate new technology platforms
  • Efficiently move through a to-do list and effectively prioritize and triage competing demands
  • Passion for connecting individuals and families with excellent care
  • Can successfully work remote
  • Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and care to your team.
  • Work autonomously to complete assignments.
  • Work cooperatively with others and be punctual and consistent in attendance because your people will rely on you!
