The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) Lead is responsible for supervision to MCOT QMHPs and as needed to clinical staff in the Center. Core task is to ensure that services provided are in accordance with all reporting requirements and are based in a trauma informed and person driven care model. Team Lead serves as the expert of all service delivery and is able to train, model, and oversee all service delivery of their team members to complete phone screening to performing face to face crisis assessments, crisis intervention, crisis follow up and relapse prevention services for individuals with chronic mental illness.

Services will be provided at the individual’s place of residence, schools, and other safe community-based locations 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, including holidays. Services will be provided to adults/adolescents /children. Must Reside within 30 minutes of the clinic with reliable transportation.

The Lead will coordinate and monitor staff who provide crisis assessments and treatment planning, serve as an advocate and liaison on behalf of the individual served. Work within federal, state, and local guidelines to supervise staff and may provide routine case management, skills training, psychosocial rehabilitation as well as community resource education. Lead must provide support to ensure staff fully understand their clinical expectations and are maintaining service provision and documentation standards. Must be able to work closely with all team members and take initiative in completing complex tasks and projects Lead works under the supervision of the Clinic Director and ensures effective communication regarding provider operations, performance, and problems.

You will get to:

Qualifications


You’ll definitely need:

  • Must be able to be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and credentialed as an LPHA.
  • Current licensure in the State of Texas as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, PhD or PsyD
  • Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, behavioral health or related field.
  • (Transcripts are required at time of application)
  • Minimum of two (2) years providing counseling, intake or psychiatric rehabilitation services.
  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully and collect relevant information 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Comfortable working with technology and can easily navigate new technology platforms
  • Efficiently move through a to-do list and effectively prioritize and triage competing demands
  • Passion for connecting individuals and families with excellent care
  • Can successfully work remote
  • Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and care to your team.
  • Work autonomously to complete assignments. 
  • Work cooperatively with others and be punctual and consistent in attendance because your people will rely on you!

We can pay you:

$51,864 Annual w/ $40.00 Nightly On-Call pay plus good karma for doing good in the world.
