Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and frameworks, such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, with experience adapting methodologies to suit project needs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of making data-driven decisions and driving business value through project delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, and other collaboration tools.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects, managing all aspects of project life cycle from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of project goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and establish metrics for tracking and evaluating project progress and success.
- Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including developers, engineers, architects, and business analysts, to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide strategic guidance and decision-making support to project teams, identifying and resolving complex issues and risks to ensure project success.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure project requirements are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, methodologies, and tools, leveraging industry best practices and lessons learned.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in project delivery, promoting teamwork, creativity, and accountability.
