Hilco Transport is Hiring an Utilities Maintenance Worker Near Charlotte, NC
- Completed paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Physical activities include: walking, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL- A or B is not required but is a “plus.”
- Must be able to frequently perform lifting and carrying of vehicle components, parts, and hand tools weighing up to 50 pounds, up to waist level.
- Must occasionally lift vehicle components / parts weighing up to 150 pounds, with assistance from co-workers.
- Must be able to complete tasks that may require bending and heavy lifting.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to withstand working in various conditions including cold and heat, and indoor/outdoor settings including warehouse, service area, and outside of the building.
- May be exposed to fumes and body shop related surroundings and other hazardous materials

Job Duties:
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment such as fork lift, scissor lift, service trucks, etc.
- Repair or replace defective parts on premise such as lights, non-specialized fixtures, small plumbing.
- Daily shop/yard maintenance to include litter pick up, trash receptacle emptying.
- Refill driver pre-trip fluid bottles weekly and/or as needed.
- Broom shop floor and clean with mop and/or floor scrubber as needed.
- Parts pick-up, shuttle trucks, run errands between Hilco locations.
