Job Description
This position will develop and manage fast paced Command Center activities in large industrial manufacturing environment, and special and planned events. This position develops, improves, and ensures quality to incident management playbooks aligned to emergency management principles, policy, and plans. This position manages personnel assigned to Command Center/Emergency Operation Center for 24/7/365 coverage, and support personnel. This position reports to Director, Emergency Management and Preparedness and will interface daily with peer managers in fire, safety, security, operations, and facility/maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provides Operational Planning Guidance to Emergency Operations Center Workforce
  • Maintains all day-to-day responsibility for enforcement and actions of Pascagoula and Avondale sites.
  • Liaison with local law enforcement/emergency management partners and stakeholders
  • Physical Security Manager
  • Manages Plant Protection Plan- CDRL A319 Navy Standard Item 009-72 Force Protection, Security Contracts, Direct Reports, along with Drills and Exercise Program
  • Corporate Security Council Working Group Member
  • Approve waivers for pre-employment background investigations for employees and contractors
  • Participate in Insider Threat Program as committee member
  • Safeguards Information Security (HII proprietary information, 32 CFR 117 Protection of Classified Information)
  • Creates playbooks for incidents that required complex response and Special Event/Operations Security Plans
  • Training Program Manager
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 4 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of degree.
