MAXISIQ seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to serve as a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert responsible for specifications, design development, testing, integration, and system demonstrations activities in support of the Customer's system's security posture. This is a full time position requiring an active TS with SCI eligibility minimum. The role is located in the DC Metro area (Ft. Belvoir area preferred) with travel in and around Hanover, MD. This is a role for which we must determine a candidate now. Interviews are underway! Work becomes available with award in May 2024.
Duties associated with this role: * Serve as a technical leader and mentor, and lead a cross-functional team ensuring the architecture, design and implementation meet or exceed all requirements.
* Ensuring all system components have been appropriately sourced, tested, are properly installed and configured to produce the highest quality infrastructure, availability, and performance to meet or exceed mission needs. Components may include hardware, software (GOTS, COTS or software developed specifically for the Customer), or cloud computing environments selected to meet or exceed associated Key Performance Parameters (KPPs), Key System Attributes (KSAs), Additional Performance Attributes (APAs), Cyber Security Attributes (CSAs) and prescribed acquisition requirements.
* Identifying, analyzing, and evaluating new technologies and products for inclusion in the System to ensure its continuous evolution to meet the ever-changing cyber landscape.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of ten (10) years' experienceEDUCATION: * Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or Computer ScienceREQUIRED SKILLS: * Operating Systems internals knowledge
* Knowledge of various computer and network hardware components and chip sets
* Knowledge of commercial software products supporting security and system management functions
* Familiarity with the Atlassian tool set; specifically, Jira and Confluence
* Agile tool sets/SAFE
* Cloud/Containers
* Oral and written communication skills
* IMSDESIRED SKILLS: * Python, any networking or application languages
* SCRUM Master/SCRUM experience a plusCLEARANCE: * TS/SCI with CI Poly or TS with SCI eligibility and must be willing to obtain a CI PolyCERTIFICATIONS (Preferred): * SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
