Reporting to our Senior Director of Accounting and Finance, the Finance Manager is a key member of the Accounting and Finance team and will be responsible for various day-to-day accounting activities while also participating in projects that help drive the growth of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with and prepare reports in accordance with GAAP
- Extensive communication and collaboration with President, COO, and VP Finance
- Work closely with leadership to produce, and present reporting materials to simplify messages and improve cross functional executive understanding of operational results
- Perform SOX controls and maintain thorough and accurate documentation as needed
- Assist with internal and external audits throughout the year
- Responsible for preparing & executing budget, forecast and outlook
- Assist in compilation and analysis of monthly financial and operational reports
- Identify and participate in company process improvement projects
- Assists in financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively within the team and across departments
- Assist with other miscellaneous tasks and handle special projects upon request including performing ad-hoc analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and thorough understanding of accounting and finance
- CPA and experience in public accounting are preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including excellent Excel skills
- Knowledge of ERP and BI tools is a plus
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time well
- Succeeds in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
