About Us: Hightop Health is a leading provider of outpatient mental health services, and we are opening a brand new clinic with Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treatments. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing evidence-based, measurement-driven therapies in a supportive and compassionate environment. Holistic health undergirds our continuum of care with a focus on health eating, active living, mindfulness, and community engagement in addition to the use of psychiatric medications and psychotherapies.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Program Director to lead our clinical team at our PHP/IOP Facility. The Clinical Program Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical services, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote a culture of excellence in patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and substance abuse treatment, as well as proven leadership and management skills. This individual must be able to troubleshoot unexpected situations, up to and including potential involuntary hospitalizations for patients who need assessments under Georgia’s 1013 statute. Knowledge of CBT in a group therapy setting as well as meaningful treatment planning are necessary in addition to managing our counseling staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to therapists, counselors, and other clinical staff
  • Partner with physician leader to develop group curricula that details learning objectives, interventions, and outcome variables for enrolled patients
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure quality care delivery
  • Conduct regular clinical audits and reviews to monitor program effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic initiatives and goals for the clinical department
  • Lead clinical team meetings and provide guidance on complex cases and treatment planning
  • Facilitate staff training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including referral sources, community agencies, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure documentation of clinical services meets regulatory standards and agency policies
  • Participate in performance evaluation and feedback processes for clinical staff
  • Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance abuse treatment

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical leadership or management roles within a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a PHP or IOP setting (preferred)
  • Certification or advanced training in clinical supervision or leadership
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing mental health and substance abuse treatment programs
