Highstreet Insurance Partners - Central Region is Hiring an Employee Benefits Account Executive Near Lincoln, NE

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our team. This position will be working in the Lincoln/Omaha metro areas and actual work location can be determined in those areas. As an Employee Benefits Account Executive, you will actively sell new policies as well as maintain existing accounts. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the successful administration of employee benefits programs. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role has the opportunity to grow into a Leadership position in our Group Employee Benefits Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Approach potential clients and develop a pipeline of potential clients using referrals or other organic resources.
  • Participate in community events to build relationships with local businesses and personnel.
  • Provide prompt, efficient, high quality service to your customers.
  • Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options, recommend necessary policy coverages and changes, and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review of client insurance options to educate clients.
  • Initiate renewal reviews and re-markets as appropriate, to provide the client with the optimal solution for their company's employee benefit needs.
  • Interact with carrier underwriters and obtain approval of accounts by completing application(s) for coverage.
  • Maintain client accounts on agency automation systems, by documenting conversations, properly attaching documents, and maintaining the follow-up items.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing proactive solutions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review benefit plans, discuss renewals, and address any concerns or questions.
  • Analyze benefit plan data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures or program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of benefit changes or updates.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in benefit regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Conduct presentations and training sessions for clients on benefit programs and offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Three years of group employee benefits account management experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Life and Health License is required.
  • Industry Designations Preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
