Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock movement, and optimizing inventory processes. Your expertise in process improvement and data analysis will contribute to the overall success of our inventory management system. Duties: - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and minimize errors - Coordinate with warehouse personnel to facilitate proper storage, organization, and rotation of inventory - Utilize SQL and other data collection tools to analyze inventory data and generate reports - Collaborate with demand planning and production planning teams to forecast future inventory needs - Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in inventory management - Assist in the implementation of new inventory management systems or software - Perform heavy lifting as needed for inventory counts or movement Experience: - Proven experience in inventory control or related field - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles - Proficiency in SQL or other database query languages - Experience with demand planning and production planning processes - Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Strong analytical abilities with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal We offer competitive compensation, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
