At an advanced level, completes patient billing processes for assigned area.
Reports to: Market Director - Physician Practices
Associate’s degree in related field - Required
Will accept High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years clinical billing experience, in lieu of Associates degree
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses:
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - Preferred
5 years clinic billing experience in one or more of the following specialties: Pediatrics, GI, Endoscopy, General & Vascular Surgery, OBGYN, Cardiology, Orthopaedics - Required.
