Transportation Drivers Duties and Responsibilities :
- Drive shuttle vehicles to and from the river and other destinations
- Maintain vehicles in a neat and clean manner
- Entertain guests
- Seek to provide our guests with the best outdoor experience of their lives
- Use computers to check availability and record reservations accurately
- Present facts about the regions natural and human history
- Provide a positive role model for children and facilitate kid-friendly activities
- Prepare delicious meals
- Care for High Mountain Expeditions equipment
- Be a steward of the natural areas in which we travel
Transportation Drivers Qualifications :
- Must provide a DOT driving record annually
- DOT regulations require a physical exam & drug testing of all qualified applicants
- CPR and First-Aid Certified (WFR / SWR are a plus)
- Customer service experience or superb people skills
- Experience or willingness to work with young children and adolescents
- Physically fit
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English
- Non-Smoker
- Creative approach to problem-solving
- Basic computer knowledge
