JOB SUMMARY

The job is responsible for the development and execution of enterprise-wide, strategic talent processes and key talent programs aligned with the enterprise business and talent strategies. Additionally, this job oversees a team that is responsible for the end-to-end operational design, deployment and ongoing management of assigned program(s)/process(es). The incumbent will be a key influencer with executive leadership for enterprise-wide programs/processes that may include one or more of the following: Enterprise Engagement, Rotational Programs, High Potential Pipeline Programs, and Leadership Development.

The main responsibility of this role is in Talent Management (e.g., Talent Review, Talent Planning, Succession Planning). Hands-on experience with Talent Management products and services is crucial for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Responsible for designing and driving enterprise talent strategies, programs, and processes that enable our business strategy and prepare us for the future. Create and maintain program budget. Oversee an internal team that executes on all deliverables and manage complex strategic third parties/vendor relationships.
  • Regularly consults with business leaders and Talent Engagement Leads (TELs) to understand current and future talent needs/opportunities and design program/process strategies to best fit enterprise need. Partners closely with other HR Journeys, HR TELs, and key business leaders to ensure commitment to accelerated pipeline development through: engagement strategies, competitive compensation practices, challenging assignments, best-in-class assignment managers, coaches, and mentors, and accelerated placement upon graduation.
  • Drives executive leadership buy-in through effective communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Is seen as an industry expert: stays on top of industry trends and research, benchmarks with external organizations, and contributes/speaks at various industry events.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field

Substitutions

  • 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in in Human Resources or related field

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 7 years in Talent Management, Human Resources, or Learning & Development
