Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Services team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the reporting and visualization environment, extracting actionable insights from large and complex datasets, driving data-driven decision-making, and supplying strategic guidance to enhance business performance. The individual in this position will also be responsible for advancing the research and analytic needs of Highline.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of structured and unstructured data to find patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Pull data from a wide range of sources to derive conclusions and distill complex analytical findings into cohesive communications to end users.
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the needs of customers.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to document business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data analysis methodologies, tools, and processes, and drive their implementation.
  • Become the subject matter expert on data storage, structure, process, cleaning, and manipulation as it relates to reporting and visualization.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports and quickly and effectively solution corrections.
  • Works independently to manage work assignments and escalates issues as required to ensure on timely delivery. Takes assigned project from original concept through final implementation. This includes testing and training where applicable.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years proven working experience as a Data Analyst
  • Experience with telecommunications infrastructure and technology.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, APIs, SQL
  • Some travel required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (Drug and Background). As well as quarterly random screenings.
