Job DescriptionThe Companion Observer is a staff member trained to provide supportive care to patients who need 1:1 observation for safety. The Companion Observer assures safety by constant observation and assists with providing a therapeutic care environment.
Must be present for all mandatory orientation taking place on:May 30th, May 31st, and June 5thPAY SCALE: $15-$18.50_*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._

Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED; it is preferred that the candidate is enrolled in college, preferably with a nursing or other healthcare major. 6 months of previous work experience in a customer service or health care setting preferred. No clinical experience required.
