Highland Caregivers is a new non-medical private care agency located in Waterbury, CT and helps people of all ages stay in their homes by giving them extra assistance. We offer personal care services to individuals, families, facilities, and retirement centers.

Job Description: Caregiver

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of services provided

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
