The House Attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all assigned areas. He/she is also responsible for delivering items to guestrooms (express checkout, newspapers - property specific, etc.).

Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to hotel standards.
• Seperate laundry.
• Run items to guestrooms for guests and housekeepers.
• Stock housekeeping landings.
• Strip dirty linen from beds.
• Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Maintain storage of hotel equipment in proper area.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
