Custom residential home builder located on the North Chicago Area is looking to fill a full-time Project Superintendent position for projects in the Northwest Indiana and South East of Michigan area.

Candidate should have residential construction experience.

Qualifications:

1. Proficient with all technical building skills
2. Previous experience working on new construction and remodel projects
3. Assist in Change Order review and pricing (Change Orders Submitted and Processed By Office)
4. Intermediate experience with, Word and Excel is a must
5. Highly organized
6. Superior communication skills, meetings with homeowners and architects
7. Portray a positive attitude and demonstrate professional customer service skills
8. College degree is preferred but not required, or equivalent in field experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Management up to 3 home projects at a time
2. Work with project Manager to monitor project costs during all phases of construction
3. Oversee adherence to a detailed project schedule, preparation of schedule by office
4. Manage on-site subcontractors, deliveries, materials and logistics
5. Collaborate with construction team on pre-construction tasks and project schedule
6. Develop and maintain business relationships with owners, architect/engineers and subcontractors
7. Provide quality project management to our customers that meets or exceeds their performance standards
