Southeastern Oral Surgery is seeking a skilled and committed Front Desk Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive for their appointment. 
• Assist patients with paperwork while checking in at the front desk. 
• Answer phone calls promptly.
• Schedule procedures for clinical visits.
• Enter patient’s insurance information in practice management software. 
• Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients and referrals.
• Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
• Responsible for closing the front lobby at the end of each day. 
• Perform other office administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of dental and/or medica experience preferred but not required.
• 1 or more years of customer focused experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• The ability to stay organized and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
