Description

Cornerstone Endodontics in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a skilled, full-time Dental Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice. The ideal candidate for the Dental Assistant position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care and committing to excellence. 

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures.
  • Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensuring their comfort.
  • Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
  • Capture X-rays and other scans as needed.
  • Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
  • Perform office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
