Highfields, Inc. began in 1962 as a residential camp for troubled boys in Ingham County. We serve about 8,000 people in 13 mid-Michigan counties and are currently seeking a qualified Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Case Manager serving clients in Jackson County.
The ASD Case Manager is responsible for making sure the child's special education, or other developmental disability, services and supports are in place. Coordinating and providing care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered. Drafting service plans, reviewing case treatment programs which involves getting them the right services and care.
Negotiating, collaborating, communicating, team-building, precepting, educating, and consulting are the basis of what a successful candidate will need to bring to the position each day.
Services provided are during traditional and non-traditional hours allowing for a flexible schedule. Paperwork and documentation may sometimes be performed remotely.
You should have a bachelor's degree in the mental health field and at least one year experience working as a case manager (internship will be considered). Must also have excellent communication, listening skills, and a passion for helping others.
