Title : Regional Inventory Manager, Higher Love Corporation
Reports To: Retail Director/Vice President (s) of Retail
About the Position: We are looking for a dedicated and reliable inventory manager to join our growing company. The primary purpose of this position will be to monitor inventory and receiving data and processes across all store locations, and report and diagnose issues in our processes and procedures to ensure inventory results are accurate and are in alignment with state compliance. You will be responsible for developing inventory training for store teams, working within tracking systems, working with Loss Prevention team members to diagnose issues and provide solutions to resolve flagged issues, reviewing levels of products and provide insights and suggestions to product needs and solutions for aging product and on-hand SKU's, aid in new product launches in stores, prepare reports for Director and Vice Presidents as needed, work cross-divisionally within teams, and performing audits and analysis to ensure continuous improvement across stores. A successful inventory manager is a trustworthy professional with outstanding analytical, data aggregation and workflow analysis abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data and create tactics and strategies that increase inventory results.
Job Function:
· Oversee and execute all inventory-specific initiatives.
· Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly across all locations.
· Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives, goals, and operational plans.
· Ensure the store is audit compliant.
· Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for inventory team.
· Ability to Travel Though Upper Peninsula Michigan, Minnesota Market, and markets as they become active. This is a primarily field-based role.
· Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures with state level cannabis compliance agencies.
· Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization s goals
· Train managers and employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP s, compliance audits, company and state policy, and procedures
· Write and deliver team members performance reviews in partnership with GM to determine succession plans, build on member s strengths and develop areas of improvement.
· Manage the performance, coach, and discipline team members on performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with Director, Vice Presidents, and HR Director.
· Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance across all stores.
· This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to retail, special event days, and distribution.
· Validate and sign off on training for any store level employees that use Metrc and receive product.
· Train new stores on inventory processes. Assist NSO team with inventory and receiving to ensure clear inventory analysis to aid openings and promotional objectives
· Present reports and progress updates as needed to executive team.
· Monitor and provide store feedback on product merchandising, product labeling standards, and new product availability process improvement.
· Monitor aging product to ensure synergy between procurement teams and marketing promotional efforts around product and launches.
Required Experience
· A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
· Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
· Metrc Experience required.
· Knowledge of Cannabis Inventory and experience with some cannabis related POS systems (Dutchie, Flowhub, Cova, Treez, Dispense) required
· An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
· Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work cross-functionally across departments to advocate for and implement process and workflow solutions, identify needs for improvement, and work within aggressive timelines.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
· Inventory management experienced required
· Minimum 2 years experience supervising training, quality, and customer service in retail
· Minimum 4 years retail experience, including a combination of front end and/or inventory responsibilities
· Experience with P&L responsibility
· Experience with lean manufacturing systems and techniques, project management, supply chain management, and/or logistics preferred
· Strong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems
· Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures used to develop strategies designed to improve the business
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This employee is frequently required to stand or sit for long periods, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. May be required to travel during inclement weather.
Required Education
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, business, operations management, or a related field is preferred
· Experience in Cannabis Inventory Management or Warehouse logistics and inventory preferred.

Must pass any and all required background checks.
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Must possess valid driver’s license.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
