Job Description & Qualifications:

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Part-Time Controller to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to take on a crucial role in our finance and possibly human resources departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for high level bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating financial reports, and managing light human resource tasks. Looking for part time (16-24 hrs. a week) The hours of operations are anywhere between 6am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. Remote work is available after the training period is complete for some of the time.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
Oversee & maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded
Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
Handle customer finance terms and follow up on outstanding payments.
Process account payable and have oversight on Sub & vendor terms.
Financial Reporting:
Generate regular financial reports for management review.
Provide insights into financial trends and variances.
Update and pivot back-end accounting when needed
Discuss with owners and managers on how the team can pivot as needed
Help to establish SOPs for finance & HR processes.
