High Springs Pediatrics and Primary Care is a premier private practice located in High Springs, FL that is searching for a reliable, outgoing, highly organized certified Medical Assistant. We are searching for an MA that can support both the front and back office of our fast-paced, busy Family Medicine Clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant certification
  • Minimum 1-year of MA office experience, including use of an EHR
  • Reliable and Dependable
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • High quality Communication skills - verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as be a Team Player
  • Multi-tasking is a must
  • Able to be flexible to adjust to the situations that may arise throughout the work day
  • CPR Certified
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet incoming patients and visitors to the clinic
  • Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate staff or assist the caller in a professional and helpful manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Data entry
  • Collect payments from patients if necessary
  • Verify insurances via websites or phone calls
  • Other administrative functions to support clinic
  • Room patients
  • Obtain vitals
  • Phlebotomy / Injections
  • Basic understanding of common medications
  • Additional duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
