- EL endorsement required.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Demonstrates innovation and creativity while setting high expectations for students’ goals and outcomes.
- Employs innovative instructional methods, and adjusts instructional strategies based on assessment, standards, and goals to meet each student’s learning needs
- Academically prepared to teach courses in literature and composition.
- Demonstrate educational planning, including setting short and long term goals and assessment of these goals.
- Demonstrate an understanding of modifications and accommodations, and implementation in both a resource classroom and inclusion setting.
- Commitment to working with an interdisciplinary approach.
