    Business Education (0.6 FTE) and Math (0.4 FTE) Teacher
    Specific Qualifications:
    • State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Senior HS endorsements in Business Education and Mathematics.
    • EL endorsement preferred.
    • The applicant must be an experienced, outstanding educator and be willing to teach all levels of accounting, entrepreneurship, technology, consumer education, and/or LEP (Limited English Proficiency) courses.
    • Must be able and willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
    • Must work effectively within our Professional Learning Team model, which means working with teams of teachers to develop creative instructional strategies and resources, based on best practices, which enable our students to exceed state goals and standards.
    • It is expected that the teacher will utilize research-based instructional strategies for increasing student achievement and strive to become a distinguished educator.
    • Must be well-versed in a wide variety of assessment practices that maximize student learning (formative, summative, selected response, extended written response, performance based).
    • Demonstrate a wide variety of instructional methods & practices to meet individual student needs.
    • Support building extracurricular activities as a coach or sponsor.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to work with students of diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
    • Purses professional growth; and
    • Follow directives of Career and Technical Education division head.
