ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides the overall development and execution of all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Manage job postings and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager, Human Resources Business Partners and the Compensation and Benefits Director to determine appropriate offer terms, including salary, salary grade, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Establishes relationships with selected college/universities for purposes of recruitment, internships, etc.
  • Collaborates with site Human Resources Business Partners in planning recruitment strategy to be employed.
  • Establishes interview criteria for all positions including mentoring and establishing interview classes for those who participate in the process including collateral materials.
  • Coordinates and attends job fairs, open houses, campus events including the development of the company “road shows” for presentations.
  • Establishes relationship with employment/recruitment agencies and seeks commonality of usage for similar positions.
  • Conducts needs analysis on a regular basis with SBU/SRU leaders and Human Resources Business Partners.
