HIGH PRECISION LABORATORY is Hiring a Laboratory Director Near Portland, OR

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to oversee and manage our laboratory operations. The Laboratory Director will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of laboratory procedures and processes. This is a leadership role that requires strong scientific knowledge, excellent management skills, and a commitment to quality.

Duties:
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GLP, and other applicable standards
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management
- Provide guidance and support to laboratory staff in performing laboratory procedures and analyzing test results
- Review and interpret laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality control measures
- Collaborate with research scientists and other stakeholders to design experiments and develop new laboratory protocols
- Manage laboratory budgets, including procurement of equipment, supplies, and reagents
- Ensure the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in scientific research and technology relevant to the laboratory's field of study
- Foster a culture of safety within the laboratory, promoting adherence to safety protocols and providing training as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software applications
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures, techniques, and instrumentation
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and other applicable industry standards
- Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory environment is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex scientific data
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage a team
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
