Master Level Intake and Evaluation Clinician - Sign on Bonus Eligible!

Program/ Location: Plymouth Multi-Service Center/Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC)
Education/Licensure: Master's degree required in related field required
Pay Grade: $65k-75k non-licensed; $70k-80k licensed - dependent on experience, education, & licensure status
Status: Full time
Shift: Sunday 9am-5pm and Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm OR Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm

Some opportunity for telehealth services after successful completion of 90-day probationary period. A great opportunity for a clinician who enjoys/specializes in completing intakes and evaluations (Mental Health, Substance Use, 24Q, or others as needed)

About Us

High Point Treatment Center is excited to be part of the state’s expansion of behavioral health services in the Plymouth area. The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) which offers services to children, adolescents and adults, is located in Industrial Park has opportunities for growth within the outpatient, community based, and Adult Crisis Stabilization programs. High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Clinician Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations Crisis intervention Maintain assigned caseload
  • Providing direct care to patients (children, adolescents and adults– including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments
  • Responsible for each assigned patients medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manner
  • Provide direct care to the patients. This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patients. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned
  • Responsible for linking patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate 
  • Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, the Clinical Director, and/or the Senior Clinician
  • Behavioral Health Clinicians will support the new CBHC services expanding in Plymouth. The position will provide ongoing clinical services, intake, assessment and evaluation services.

Clinician Qualifications 

  • Master’s Degree in a related field
  • Independent License preferred, not required
