We aim to protect humans and property from autonomous and remotely piloted, uncrewed systems (UxS) threats.
What You'll Do?
High Point Aerotechnologies (HPA) is looking for a self-starter Field Service Representative (FSR) I/ II to provide exceptional customer service delivery to our clients out in the field. If you are an FSR passionate about driving success and understand the relationship between customer satisfaction and customer retention, this may be the role for you.
The Field Services Representative will lead the installation and testing of our systems. This is a hands-on position integral to our company's deployment process. This position is the face of HPA while client facing. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing C-UAS demonstrations and installation of C-UAS products. You will also be expected to possess a thorough understanding of all dependencies involved in the process as well as construction, design, and repair. If you hold an engineering degree or have a signal intelligence background and would enjoy providing deployment service solution to our team and clients, we would like to meet you.
This position is located in Boise, ID and involves travel to and from remote testing and installation locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Provide service and customer support during field visits for current and potential customers
    • Provide electrical design and schema
    • Administer network design and schema
    • Field design and deployment, ensuring systems are installed correctly and sensors and equipment are properly calibrated to function in highest possible manner
    • Lead and support all onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
    • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
    • Produce timely and detailed service reports
    • Follow documented processes and support the development of documented processes to further support HPA personnel and customers
    • Create training regiments
    • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
    • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
    • Build positive relationships with customers
    • Completing projects with confidence, professionalism & finesse
    • Address and solve problems with confidence
    • Train customer and junior FSR's on how to adequately deploy system hardware and software
    • Train customer and junior FSR's on how to adequately operate system
    • Support sales team in technical guidance
    • Work closely with program managers to ensure on-time, on-budget deliverables are met
    • Project Management
    • Administer site evaluation
    • Design CUAS solutions per customer requirements
    • Spectrum clearance and analysis documentation
    • Coordinate Red Team during FAT/Eval/Demo Events
Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Positive and creative, can-do attitude
    • Field service experience in a DoD (desired but not required) deployed environment
    • Experience with project management
    • Ability to deploy Long Range and Short-Range Unified Counter-UAS solution
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to think clearly and logically through complex situations under pressure
    • Experience working with passive rf, radar systems, pan tilt zoom robotics, rf jamming and drones
    • Experience working with Network Administration, Data Architecture, Solutions Architecture and Computer Network Architecture
    • Experience training end users
    • Willingness to admit lack of knowledge then pursue the required knowledge
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Signal intelligence experience, technical degree or trade school is preferred but not required
    • Drone Pilot's License is highly desirable but not required
    • Design and lead factory acceptance testing on CUAS systems
    • Design and lead on site acceptance testing on CUAS systems
    • Working remote is NOT feasible for this position
Physical Requirements
    • Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites.
    • Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
Travel
    • Must have the ability and willingness to travel for 3-to-12-month increments, to include remote DoD locations
    • Ability to travel domestic and international is required.
Security Requirements:
    • It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.

$25.65 - $38.50 an hour
The High Point Aerotechnologies pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
