We're seeking an Underwriter who has the capacity to be creative; taking the time to understand each customer’s unique needs while mitigating risk. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile where other banks might shy away.
Your mission?
To develop narratives that tell financial stories, based on a deep understanding of what can be learned from financial documents.
As an Underwriter, you will take the lead to spread and analyze financials, assemble loan presentations and provide ongoing risk mitigation through loan reviews and covenant testing. You'll collaborate closely with relationship managers to grasp the intricacies of each customer's needs, occasionally attending customer meetings to ensure understanding of the terms and conditions negotiated. Working with relationship assistants, you'll ensure all necessary documents are collected, from tax returns to credit reports. Your role extends to liaising with the Chief Credit Officer to ensure adherence to loan policies and guidance. You will also assist the Chief Credit Officer in preparing reports for the bank board and bank examiners.
