Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Head Golf Professional, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players, and booking of tee times while maintaining a high level of customer service in accordance with company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Answer the telephone and take starting time reservations.

· Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions.

· Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop daily.

· Maintain daily records and reports.

· Maintain accurate inventory and receive inventory.

· Always remain courteous with patrons.

· Perform all job tasks safely within the rules and company policies outlined in the employee handbook.

· Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

· Demonstrated skills in the proper handling of money.

· Working knowledge of basic computer programs.

· Ability to work unsupervised.

Physical requirements:

-Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers

-Give and/or follow verbal and written instructions.

-Visually inspect and clean all work areas.

-Standing for long periods of time

-lifting of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs frequently

-pulling /pushing of doors and furniture

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· A minimum of six months’ experience as a cashier or salesclerk.

· General knowledge of the game of golf.

· Neat and professional appearance and demeanor.

· Good communication skills
