High Five Party Rentals is a small business in Avondale, AZ. We provide party rental services throughout the valley.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our party rentals team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment to customers and providing excellent customer service. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate a box trucks, and trucks and trailers.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or similar vehicle
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle and setup for events
- Ensure inflatables and other equipment is clean and presentable once setup is complete
- Follow delivery routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering party equipment in a timely and professional manner
- Review safety rules with customers and collect payments from customers, if required
- Inspect and maintain the rental equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition for each event
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Skills:
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in operating a truck and trailer
- Familiarity with using GPS or maps for navigation purposes
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading techniques
- Ability to operate a forklift (preferred but not required)
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must pass a background and drug screening
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required
