  • Independently manage, prioritize, and execute high-volume deal flow, structuring, negotiating, and executing deals that support client's content strategy and initiatives
  • Identify and prepare projects for internal support and valuation by presenting data, preparing budgets, and P&Ls, and drafting proposed deal terms.
  • Build relationships and represent the LATAM and ROW content team to various internal stakeholders including Editorial/Creative, Finance, BI, Marketing, PR, Content Services, Content Partnerships, and Content Creation teams.
  • Track and communicate deal terms within the organization and provide for the first line of enforcement of deal terms if necessary.
  • Coordinate closely with members of the content teams at clients to maintain consistency in messaging and policy.
  • Draft well-written and data-backed concise documents.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience and proven success in book publishing, content, media rights, business development, or digital media department/company

  • Resourceful self-starter with an independent attitude and focus on excellence.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong deal-making, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills -- ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas only across different levels of an organization.
  • Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity, and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams under aggressive deadlines.

  • Previous experience in and understanding of both the digital and traditional media spaces.
