Higginbotham Insurance Agency is Hiring a Commercial Insurance Account Manager - Small Business Unit Near Oldsmar, FL

Stahl & Associates Insurance , a Higginbotham Partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Small Business Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Oldsmar, FL .
We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated insurance professional who can provide exceptional service to our commercial clients, while enjoying a team-oriented culture and excellent work/life balance! This position can be hybrid, or remote for the right candidate, but we would prefer someone who enjoys the social interaction of being in an office setting. This individual will handle all aspects of servicing and marketing a large and varied book of small to mid-sized commercial accounts, including contractors, retail, distributors, non-profits, HOA's, condos and manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have experience handling tasks from A to Z, such as processing and renewal of policies, endorsements, and rating and quoting of new and renewal business. This position requires thorough documentation of conversations, emails and correspondence with customers and carriers in the Agency Management System.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to build client and carrier relationships and negotiate with carriers in the best interest of the client
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate mathematical skills as they apply to rating and servicing policies
  • Ability to handle problem situations in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task and organize and prioritize workload, and work under minimal supervision
Required Experience:
  • At least 3 years independent agency experience preferred
  • Agency management system experience required; AMS 360 experience preferred
  • Must have a current FL 2-20 P&C license
  • Professional designations, such as CIC desired, but not required
