Licensed Architect - Hickory Behavioral Network

POSITION SUMMARY

The Architect’s primary function is to oversee, direct, and advise on reviews and interpretations of proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications in accordance with required function and/or company standard for all assigned projects. This position will be responsible for designing layout for growing behavioral health company. The Architect will work with the project team to develop and design plant layouts for behavioral hospitals and treatment centers across different states.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete oversight, directing, and advising on reviews and interpretations of proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications in accordance with required function and/or company standard for all assigned projects.
• Community relationship building with local partners and organizations
• Overseeing all production drafting and engineering from preliminary design
• Overseeing preparation of all information and files pertaining to project consultants and engineers.
• Oversee project assignments and ensure plans align with the project execution.
• Ensure proper adherence in the development of architectural progress and documents.
• Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to project execution

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in professional Architecture
• NAAB accredited professional degree in Architecture
• In process or completed NCARB Intern Development Program
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Intermediate to advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business
• Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skill
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
